Fees and Charges
SPORTSMED·SA Hospital and Day Surgery has agreements with most health insurance funds to provide a no gap service. However, patients may have an excess to pay in accordance with arrangements with their own health fund.
Every patient receives a comprehensive financial quotation for their treatment at the time of their surgery booking. This quotation is based on information provided by them, the health fund and on the anticipated procedure. Please remember that the final cost may change if the procedure is more or less extensive than planned.
Any payments for your Surgeon or the Day Surgery must be paid on admission. Your surgeon’s personal assistant will advise if this is applicable to you. Please discuss any queries or concerns about charges for treatment with your surgeon’s personal assistant.
